Project Description:

Cottons Centre is a modern office building with a striking atrium over seven floors. The large building is situated overlooking the River Thames at London Bridge.

Collins carried out the replacement of glass to the atrium roof. The project was carried out using specialist access equipment.

Works to this project included –

• Engineers’ design of specialist lightweight access systems and walkways
• Manufacture of 144 No double glazed units weighing over 200 kg each
• Removal and replacement of the glass, whilst keeping the atrium below open as a business lounge
• Manufacture of bespoke glazing gaskets and replacement of the existing gaskets and trim fixings
