Washington House is located on Basil Street just moments away from the luxury shops, boutiques and restaurants of Knightsbridge. This exclusive residential building underwent the internal refurbishment of all common areas. The heavy textured walls were skimmed to provide a smooth plaster finish for painting. The dated flooring to the ground floor was taken up and replaced with polished granite. The landings were further enhanced with vinyl wall coverings to feature walls. The original solid panelled entrance doors were refurbished with the solid panels being replaced with bevelled clear glass, this enhanced natural lighting to the previously dark entrance area. Works also included installation of a fire alarm system and emergency lighting.
