Our company annual training day was held at the end of December. The day’s objective was to inform staff of any updated Health & Safety, Site Management and Company Policies. The training day also gives us an opportunity to come together as a team and discuss any concerns, suggestions for improvements or share positive experiences.

The works are coming to an end here at Royal Westminster Lodge, this weekend we were onsite carrying out the last few items, this included introducing firestopping to voids within the substrate, then applying a cementitious spray system to encapsulate. Works are progressing well onsite; We are continuing the installation of the ceiling sub grid in preparation for the new MF ceilings, introducing fire lining to the structural steel columns and beams, installing new drainage runs in the basement and laying the blockwork walls to divide the units. The strip out and reinstatement works are almost complete to this riverside restaurant located in Bedford. Collins have been refurbishing this fire damaged property, which will become a Tapas restaurant. Look out for completed photos coming soon.
At 96 Queensway, the new roof is now complete, and the temporary roof can be removed. We are progressing well with reconstructing the new floors in accordance with the engineer’s design, ready for the M&E and fit out works to begin. We shall continue to share updates as works progress.
