The structural and external renovations project to this large purpose built apartment block is now complete.
Russell Court was constructed in 1937 and consists of 501 separate apartments. The property is located just off Russell Square in the affluent area of Bloomsbury, London.
Working alongside Thomas & Thomas Surveyors, Collins were onsite here for a year, and carried out the following works –
- New Langley cut to falls insulation & felt roof
- New free standing handrail system
- New Langley liquid roofs to balconies & bay windows
- Lead replacement/repairs
- Full common part steel window replacements
- Extensive masonry repairs; Including extensive structural repairs to curved elevation & basement
- Metalwork repairs to balcony railings
- Waterproof pipework insulation
- Decoration of all previously painted surfaces
