The London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to inspire Britain

We are pleased to announce our inclusion onto The London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain Report.

The report showcases the UK’s most inspiring and fast growing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

To be selected for the list, we had to demonstrate not only positive growth in revenue over the last four years, but also significantly outperform our sector peers.

Collins Contractors are delighted to have made it onto the list, and would like to thank our team for all their hard work and dedication over the years.

International Safety Awards – Awarded for the 13th Consecutive Year

Congratulations again to all the team including our sub-contractors on receiving this prestigious British Safety Council Award for the 13th consecutive year.

Recently Completed Works

2016 has got off with a flying start for Collins with a selection of the following works recently completed

51 Cranley Mews, London £225,000

On behalf of The Welcome Trust, Collins were appointed to carry out full internal and external reconstruction and refurbishment works to this quaint Mews House.

Works included complete strip out back to the original shell, full reconstruction, plastering, new kitchen, new bathroom, new lighting and flooring.

Onslow Square, London £70,000

Replacement of glass balustrading with traditional cast iron detailing and full internal refurbishment works to the common areas of this luxury period building.

47 Connaught Street, London W2 £256,000

Full internal refurbishment to this prestigious residential building situated on The Hyde Park.

Projects Recently Commenced

Having recently secured over £2M of works, the following projects have just commenced.

  • Sloane Gate Mansions, London SW1 – External redecorations and restoration of this Cadogan Estate Building.
  • 74 Cambridge Street, Pimlico – Complete remodelling, refurbishment works and extension to a 2 bedroom basement apartment.
  • 18 Lancaster Gate, London W2 – External refurbishment and complete roof repairs.
  • Fullwell Medical Centre, Ilford Essex – Internal refurbishment and redecorations of staff toilets complete with Air Conditioning and external building repairs.
  • 10 – 72 Sussex Square – Installation of new electric gates to form access to this residential mansion block.
  • 17 Berkley Square & 33 Dover Street – Internal refurbishment contract consisting of 2 properties, located in Mayfair just off of Berkeley Square. The works involve the refurbishment of both properties common areas.

Sporting Events & Charities

Not only are we busy working on new contracts this Spring we will also be taking part in various sporting events to raise money for our chosen charities.

Collins kicked off the sporting season by taking part in the Knight Frank – Surveyor and Contractor 5 a Side Charity Football Tournament.

Training ramped up for the Collins team as we took on our colleagues and competitors in this fun and friendly event for a great cause.

The event took place on Friday 29th April 2016 in Whitechapel, London E1 all proceeds raised are to be directly donated to charity.
